The problem
GC Connected Homes install smart home systems and fix computers on the Gold Coast. Alex had built a real reputation offline — 32 Google reviews, every one of them five stars — and almost none of it was reaching people searching online. Nearly nine in ten visitors were people who already knew the name.
What we did
- Redesigned the site around the two sides of the business: smart home, and computer repairs and IT
- Rewrote every service page so a customer can tell at a glance what is on offer
- Replied to all 32 Google reviews and cleared the backlog in one go
- Set the site up to be read by AI search tools, not just Google
The result
Visits from Google are up 175 per cent, and the site now shows up in search results 53 per cent more often than it did.
Most of those visitors still arrive by searching the business name. Getting found by people who have never heard of GC Connected Homes is the job we are on now.
